CHANGES IN 12 CHAPTERS

1. I am not done with my changes.

As the change of seasons is imperceptible

Moment to moment

But over time

is seen to be inexorable,

The days of my life

Moment to moment

Will, as I turn to look back,

Form a pattern.

If I am well, in my soul,

If I am true to the one I have always known,

The only one I can ever know,

Or at least know the top layers,

As the litter becomes the layers,

The true pattern will emerge.

2. I Am not Done with My Changes.

As I Allow the Divine Sparks of Source Energy

To Awaken the Caches of My Being

To Illuminate Heaven on Earth

And Embrace the Subtle Messages

Of Portals Encoded with Remembrance

Remembrance of the Truth

Of Who I Am, of Who We Are......

3. I am not done with my changes.

How I wish I were

All done

Like a butterfly drying its wings in the sun.

4. I am not done with my changes.

Surrender is open to

All that was in my lap while

My willful eyes stretched beyond

To emptiness? to projections? to delusions?

That may now give way to

Being?

5. I am not done with my changes

For my footsteps still drag,

while at other times they float.

Which way is always the problem.

6. I am not done with my changes.

The leaves are falling and the seasons change.

I enter a new season in my life now,

This time of renewal and this time of regrets that fall away.

When am I the elder?

Now, now when I stand alone,

 Without her by my side.

7. I am not done with my changes.

not knowing what they are,

I live, as a stranger

walking about my everyday,

repeating the same motions,

rhythms as before, but

blind to who I will be,

quiet in the chaos that

surrounds me,

uncertain where and how

to go ahead.

8. I am not done with my changes.

There is more to give, more to receive.

More to develop, more to discard.

More wonders to revel in.

Joys and sorrows await.

New friendships will be birthed and old friendships repaired.

Seasons change the same way each year.

My changes are different.

See my hot green car.

9. I am not done with my changes.

Looking ahead

I glimpse surprises,

Adventurous loves and creative endeavors.

I fall in love

All over again.

10. I am not done with changes.

I seek new highways

Where new vistas appear

And spires of light attract lightening

That startle my weary eyes

Into sublime joy.

11. I am not done with my changes

ALL of my past,

shall combine with whatever lies ahead,

to produce the richest and most colorful array of happenings.

Lights, beauty, peace and contentment shall descend with a smile!

To learn, PATIENCE!

12. I am not done with my changes

My fading layers live

As the rain and leaves flutter down

My aging Spirit rises

Up, Up, Up to connect

Out Out Out not to retract

Your voice......my voice.....still important

Someone will hear.

INTO A NEW YEAR

I am climbing into a new year searching for finger and toe holes.

I am hurtling into a new year,

And hoping I can reap calm and satisfaction with my efforts.

I am backing into a new year,

And I can’t see behind me

Into the years ahead.

I am facing the old years

Where I take refuge from now instead.

I am slipping into a new year.

The past slides around me

Fluid, like an ocean,

Pulling gently,

At times tugging towards depths,

While I look at the light,

At the surface to rise.
